In the time it took to see your bikini snap in a canoe
I could have read both Descartes and Camus

In the time it took to edit my tweet
I could have seen the crazy woman feed pigeons in the street

Year by year, each day fell
But I’m concerned with ‘Valencia’ or ‘Inkwell’
