LSE Limelight #23: Being LGBTQ+ at LSE, with Thiago Pontes

I just don’t want any student to feel the way I felt, isolated or marginalised, and that’s what moves me. I want LGBTQ+ students to, when they look into universities, consider LSE because it will be the best place for LGBTQ+ students. And when I hear that some of our work is actually working, it’s really rewarding.” – Thiago Pontes, LGBTQ+ Officer.

In this episode, we talk with Thiago Pontes, the LSESU LGBTQ+ officer for the academic year of 2020-2021. Thiago shared with us some of the work he has been doing so far and his plans for the rest of the year.
