PHOTOS: behind the scenes with the cast of Emilia

During one of their final practices, we caught up with the cast of Emilia for some candids photographed by Sebastian Mullen.

Zehra Jafree, director, Anna Chedham-Cooper, producer and assistant director look cheerfully on to a scene. Both women study International Relations and History – Zehra is in her second year while Anna is on track to graduate next July.

Maddie Newson, first-year Psychology and Behavioural Science, acting alongside Tea Višnjić, second-year International Relations.

First-year politics student Lola Fayokun (R) shares the stage with Deborah Afolabi (L), second-year Anthropology and Law while director Zehra adjusts Tanvi Surana, first-year International Relations student and Menat Hussein, a Masters student in the Social Policy department onstage.

Annika Ormerod, third-year Politics and Philosophy student shares a scene with Tanvi.

Maddie and Tanvi stand on either side of Rachel Lai, a first-year Mathematics with Economics student.

Tea, this time flanked by Juyeon Kim (L), third-year Geography student, Nicole George, first-year Psychology and Behavioural Science student and Sophie Howard (R), who is completing a Masters in Human Rights.

Tanvi and Josie Stephens, third-year Politics and Philosophy student stand face to face in this tense scene.
