In an effort to raise awareness on campus about consent and sexual harassment, LSE and the Student’s Union have collaborated together and have launched the Consent Campaign this year. Our 5 Consent Champions, in collaboration with other important actors such as the Women’s Officer, are working hard on promoting the campaign, through workshops and various events.
LSE does #March4Women:
Our biggest yet and upcoming event is our attendance at CARE’s March4Women for International Women’s Day on the 4th of March 2018. We will all meet together at LSE for breakfast at 10h.30am. prior to the march. The breakfast will take place on the 6th floor of the Saw Swee Hock building. At 11.30am, we will all head together to the march as group.
We will also be hosting a poster-making session on the 1st of March. (More information about this is soon to follow)
We are marching in solidarity and celebration of 100 years of the first female suffrage in the UK and in support of the need to continue raising awareness of the sexism, abuse, harassment or violence women still experience. The breakfast and march is open to all and we are hoping to reflect the diversity of students in London.
