Will Stein: the man, the myth, the legend. Have you heard the whispers? That he has put more time into improving Student Satisfaction than pursuing his degree? That he birthed the campaign idea for the Summer Ball motion, a platform on which several candidates are now standing? That he created the new club night ‘Nachos’ that filled the void left by Saucy? That he launched the glamorous Geography Ball and a banterous trip to Sofia, Bulgaria? And it’s not just for Geography. Will has supported numerous other societies in launching and advertising their events, including the London Diplomacy Ball and the Management Trip to Budapest.
Will has demonstrated time and time again that he can convince the higher powers of LSE to listen to us. Through working closely with the Geography and Environment department, the LSESU and other external organisations to secure sponsorship for countless events Will has proven that he cares about students and wants the LSE experience to be the best that it can be.
There is a myriad of reasons why the Geography and Environment Society is endorsing Will Stein for General Secretary. His plans to create an LSE wide family scheme and a more inclusive Freshers Week, as well as his goals to improve the LSE social experience are admirable and ambitious. But where others may only dream, Will makes it happen.
Not only has Will enhanced the student experience of every member of this society, but he would do a fantastic job in improving the whole university for all students.
No one is more committed to improving OUR university experience. No one has dedicated as much of their own time to this cause and no one will do a better job of creating important and noticeable changes to life at LSE.
Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way!
