BREAKING: JANUARY EXAMS TO BE HELD ON A WEEKEND

The Week 0 exam dates will reportedly begin on Wednesday, 3rd January 2018, a day later than originally advertised to students, to allow students an extra day to travel back to London after the Christmas break. This means that exams will spill over onto the weekend 6/7 of January, finishing on the morning of Sunday, 7th January.

To compensate for the inconvenience of attending a weekend exam, LSE will open catering facilities and provide a free lunch to all students sitting an exam on any day throughout the exam period. Staff working on the weekend will also be eligible for a free lunch.

Students will reportedly be sent their exam timetables in mid-November 2017. The change in exam date apparently comes as a result of student feedback through Student Staff Liaison Committees and LSE’s consultation with the Students’ Union.
